GASS TEAMS UP WITH DAVE MAC MOTORSPORTS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN- June 10, 2020- 16-year-old, Noah Gass will pilot one of the Dave McIntosh team owned Toyota-powered midgets starting this weekend at Lake of the Ozark Speedway with the POWRi series and continuing on for USAC’s Indiana midget week, June 16-21. Gass looks to improve from last year during his midget week debut where a bad accident cut his week short.
Gass, who has competed in a handful of races so far this year in his family owned No. 20g, is looking forward to running for a different team, “I am grateful for the opportunity to run with Dave Mac Motorsports. They have an awesome program and it will be good for me as a driver to expand my experience and run with another team,” Gass said.
Noah and his father Randy had spoken previously with the team about the potential of running with them, but never followed through until the season began to pick back up. “It will be great for Noah to branch out and diversify himself by running for Dave Mac Motorsports. Having only ran his own car, I know this is an incredible opportunity for him to gain more experience,” Randy Gass stated.
Cody Cordell, team manager/crew chief for Dave Mac Motorsports said, “We are really excited about the opportunity to work with Noah. We know we have top-notch equipment and we hope that combined with him can show his talent.”
